• Provide weatherization services to reduce the energy cost for the homeowner by addressing heating systems, air sealing, insulating, health and safety concerns
• Install fire extinguishers, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors

To receive services you must: Fully complete a weatherization application, provide proof that you are income eligible, and provide proof of ownership. All required documentation must be submitted with a complete application. Rentals can be weatherized, with the permission of the home owner.

* Replace incandescent light bulbs with compact florescent light (CFL) bulbs
* Turn the lights off when you’re not in the room or using them
* If replacing an appliance buy an energy efficient model with the Energy Star label
* Plug electronics into power strips and turn off power strips when not in use
* Weather-strip doors and windows
