She is a faculty member at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, sits on the Statewide Independent Living Council, and is the proud parent of a two year old. Bio: Patrick M. McCarty, Chairman Seat D. elected: 3/2005 Bio: Patrick (Pat) resides in Ruby with his wife, Esther where they have raised four children and a few grandchildren. Pat works for Wrights Air Service as the agent and is also self-employed at his convenience store. For many years he's appreciated being the crew boss during the fire season as he enjoys the outdoors. During the winter he enjoys being out in the woods cutting wood or logs on a snow machine or out on the river in the summer time. Other offices held: Chief/Second Chief of Ruby Tribal Council; City Council Member of Ruby; CSC Member of Ruby, presently the Chairman; TCC Executive Board; TCC Sub-regional Board; Yukon-Koyukuk School Board; Dineega Corporation Board Member. Pat enjoys serving on the Board of Commissioners working toward many more modern, efficient homes for the interior villages.

Robert Walker, Commissioner Seat B Elected: 3/09
Bio: Robert A. Walker was born and raised in Holy Cross, Alaska. He received his elementary education in Holy Cross and graduated from Chemawa High School. He lives and has resided in Anvik with his wife Julia. Together they have three children: Chad, Sr.; Brandi and Chaz and five grandchildren – Carlson, Chantelle, Chad Jr., Corwin and Chaniya. Robert has been employed with the State of Alaska, DOT as the Anvik Airport Maintenance Manager since 1993. He was the Mayor of the City of Anvik for 25 years and is currently serving as a council member. Robert also serves on his village corporation board, Deloycheet Corporation and holds the office as Vice-President. He is currently a member of the Anvik Tribal council and a past board member with the Iditarod Area School District. Since 2000 Robert has served on the Western Interior Regional Council (RAC) Federal Subsistence Board.He has served one year of a three year term as a commissioner of the Interior Regional Housing Authority.

Fred Alexie, Sr., Commissioner Seat E Elected: 3/08
Bio: Fred Alexie, Sr. was born and raised in Kaltag. He and his family still live their today. He has been married to Sophie (McGinty) Alexie for 38 years and together they have seven children (3 boys and 4 girls) and they have 4 grandchildren. Fred is retired from the Operating Engineers, Local 302 after 35 years as a dozer operator. He was elected Chief of the tribe in 1966 and served in that position until 1969. In 1969 Kaltag incorporated as a 2nd class city and Fred then served as the Mayor for 30 years. He has dedicated about 40 years of his life to public service to the community of Kaltag. He has been a commissioner of IRHA for two years.
